The short version
- This site has no accounts, sign-up forms or comment boxes.
- I use the Meta Pixel to see which ads are working and to show ads to people who have visited.
- Checkout happens on Gumroad. I never see your card details.
- I don’t sell your personal information.
Who runs this site
The Elite College Playbook is run by Tomi Ojo (“I” or “me” on this page). You can reach me at theelitecollegeplaybook@gmail.com.
What’s collected when you visit
Basic technical information. Like most websites, this site’s hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs things like your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
Advertising and measurement (Meta Pixel). This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It uses cookies and similar technology to record things like the pages you view, the buttons you tap and details about your browser and device. Meta uses this to help me measure my ads and show them to the right people, including people who have visited this site before. Meta’s handling of this information is covered by Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
What’s collected when you buy
Purchases are processed by Gumroad. Gumroad collects your payment details, and I never see or store your card number. Gumroad shares your name, email address and order details with me so I can:
- deliver your download links,
- answer your questions and handle refunds,
- send you occasional updates about what you bought.
Gumroad’s own Privacy Policy explains how they handle your information.
Emails
If you buy, you’ll get emails about your purchase. If I ever send other emails, every one will include a way to unsubscribe.
How long information is kept
Purchase records are kept for as long as they’re needed for customer support, refunds, and tax and accounting requirements.
Your choices
- Ads: you can change how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- Your information: email me to ask what information I have about you, or to ask me to correct or delete it.
Children
This site and the Playbook are meant for parents and guardians. The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
